July through September are the busiest months of the year for us here at A Bunch of Bows. That usually surprises people when I tell them that, but that is when many cheerleading teams are getting ready to begin their new seasons or preparing for competitions, and that's when we get swamped with cheer bow orders.

We are constantly striving to better our selection of cheerleading hair bows, and we have two new styles that have just been added to the website that will grab attention for certain when they are worn!

Above on the left, you'll see our new spirit hair bows featuring a top layer of striped ribbon! The stripes on top of the solid grosgrain ribbon look really sharp and vibrant together. You many choose from our over 60 colors of solid grosgrain ribbons, and we carry the striped ribbons in ten color combinations. Choose from Red/White stripe, Century Blue/White stripe, Regal Purple/White stripe, Yellow/White stripe, Teal/White stripe, Orange/White stripe, Navy/White stripe, Hunter Green/White stripe, Green/White stripe, and Black/White stripe.

There are dozens of school uniform color combinations out there. In addition to the bazillion plaids that some schools use, solid color polos and pants/skirts combinations are popular as well.

As it indicates on our website, we do listen to the requests our customers make! A few months ago, we started getting many requests for monogrammed hair bows. I do not own a sewing machine, and the thought of getting one and trying to figure out how to use its embroidering function gave me a headache just thinking about it! I am one of those people who cannot read written instructions and figure out things... I have to see someone else model a new task before I can think about doing it myself!

About that time, one of my friends came up with the fabulous idea of using Swarovski crystals to make a monogram instead. Now, we have monogrammed hair bows that are even prettier than embroidered monograms, since you wouldn't believe how they sparkle! The photos just don't do them justice.

We currently have these monogrammed hair bows in light pink ribbon with hot pink crystals. If they continue to sell well, we will add them in other colors as well! These monogrammed hair bows are available in our two most popular styles, the Annabelle and Sophia styles. As usual, you may choose from either clippy or french clip attachments. I'm sure the subject of this post is not going to be a surprise to anyone reading this. Unfortunately, it is now so common to receive poor customer service that you're more surprised when you receive GOOD customer service.

Just last week, I called a local discount store and asked for their toy department. I wanted to see if they had a popular item in stock before leaving to fight the crowds there. I won't say the name of the store, but there's one in every town, so chances are that you've had the same experience. I called three times, was put on hold each time, waiting 10-15 minutes each time before hanging up. I never did talk to anyone in the toy department.

One of my top priorities in having my own hair bows business is to have the same type of customer service that I wish to encounter when I patronize any type of business myself.
